I really like this - the wash is just enough color to finish it off (i think)

ReplyDeleteI am still trying to figure out if this painting needs something more (which is probably a good indication that it does). Should I darken the background so that the flower sticks out more?
ReplyDeletethat might work - I always darken the edges of my flower (or whatever the ink image is) -
ReplyDeletemaybe something like the life cycle painting where you use colored pencil to create the blue fading away from the bird - you know what I mean?
