This is the first attempt of creating a painting based off of classic illustration--I am not that happy with it, but it has given me more ideas. This is a collaboration--your painting is the base. Let me know your thoughts. Material= pen & ink, silver marker, and watercolor.
I like - what don't you like about it? I think the contrast between the abstract background and the detailed ink drawing looks great.
