Current inspiration

What about Julie Mehretu--do you find her inspiring? I think she has a methodical approach with dealing with space that results in really fresh abstract cityscapes/architectural imagery. Also, she has Michigan roots.

The proportions are a little off, but fixable -- I am really back and force with the colors. It's acrylic, so I want to do thin layers. I like the eyes.
