I really need to get a better set up for taking photos... most of the recent images were taken with my phone, however this one I took with my camera and it still isn't great - oh well.

this is a drawing over a copy of a drawing of a butterfly i traced from an encyclopedia type book - follow that? I wonder how many times I can copy this before it becomes unrecognizable...

I like this image better than the others lately...

not sure how I feel about my visual journal images lately - I'm glad I'm doing them - they are a great exercise to keep working on ideas, but I miss painting large.

sharpie markers - had class this morning, then we all went to library. Not sure what this image is about - reminds me of stones in water.

now that I have been creating a new visual journal image every day for a little over a month, I think it is officially a habit. I decided I need to start writing a little bit about each image or at least jot down something about the day... I like to look back and compare the image with what was going on that day, but I can't remember most of these days. Sometimes the image has something to do with what the day, but other times it seems completely random. I think by writing about the day, even if I just list things, then looking back at images after some time will be more interesting and insightful.

This image totally fits with the day... can't believe I came across this house image with a giant safe as the front door - funny .

the colors are off - I've been using my phone to upload images because Grace has been using my camera to make mini movies and using up the battery. plus, the mobile upload is quick!
